It started with 12 teams, divided into 2 divisions. After five grueling divisional games, only 4 teams remain to contest this year's coveted championship.
One thing is sure, a new champion team will emerge this year after WSA boots out defending champions, Red Bulls, in the play-offs circle with a higher Q points in Division B.
GK Warriors, this year's hands-down cinderella team, makes its first appearance in the playoffs after 3 years in the league hugging the cellar.
TFC Mainline, a newbie in Palaro, is expected to give everyone a good fight to the championships. Fresh from their perfect slate at Philly's FACAA league, the Jersey boys are hungry for another title this time here in Delaware. Will the TFC snatch another inter-state crown from the locals?
Delaware Titans, a veteran team of PAAD Palaro league, emerges from last year's hapless campaign to become this year's never-say-die team as they wrestle GK's cinderalla entry at the playoffs. Clearly, the TATANGS, as everyone fondly call them, have captured the hearts of the PALARO fans. Both an off-court and on-court, as well as a blog-favorite, the Titans claw their way up in their bid to frustrate GK's 5-0 slate and squeek into the finals.
Wala Sa Ayos, on the other hand, will try to make it a two-peat to the finals roster by facing the mighty TFC in their playoff tussle. In their failed game against GK Warriors, everybody has doubrs on whether they can break TFC's frontlines. Will WSA end their losing slump and emerge in the finals by beating TFC?

The WSA vs TFC game is actually a rematch of last years Finals. We expect WSA to have learned from their mental mistakes in last year's championship game. This is not an easy game for TFC.
Both playoff games will be exciting. I just wished the schedules didn't have the playoff games played at the same time so that everybody will have the chance to watch them both.

The DE Titans is one solid team, and I don't only mean Basketball wise, but camaraderie wise. The original players of this team has been there since PAAD started having this league (hence they are called Tatangs!)
Through the years they have added players, without altering the main cast. And these players that we fondly call tatangs still plays the game at a high level. I've participated in some of their regular scrimmages (which is all-year-round) and they'll treat you as if you've been a part of their team for a long time. You'll know they are really having fun.
Someday the main cast of the Titans will (slowly) pass the torch to the next generation of Titans to continue the tradition of the "Never-Say-Die-Walang-Sisihan" Titans!

I think i kno how to frustrate the GK Warriors. My plan is to boo the players when the GK players have the ball... Maybe that will get in their heads and get them out of their game.

GK Warriors will lose to tatangs this saturday because they are not that good! From what Ive seen they have only 2 scores and one shooter whos is inconsitnt. titans have all around game and more deep bench. We will get Leo Bullony and Clemente in foul trouble jus from charges. I have not seen anyone else in starting team do anything so I cant wait for saturday. Go Titans!!
The defending champions are still in the running this year. TFC-Mainline players were the core players of the Redbull championship team last year.
GKW is the new team within a team this year. I hope we'll see some of the 'real' GKW players get some minutes this Saturday. Some of them can play and are good shooters (JV, magaling din...... sa asaran :P) I won't be surprised to see the core players of GKW form their own team next Palaro like TFC-Mainline. This would be good for the rest of the players though, they might not win as much, but i'm sure they'll enjoy the Palaro games more.

I will compare TITANS and GKW's to Ginebra and San Miguel beer basketball team in PBA.
Ginebra being there since the begining with capability of pulling the trigger and a tons of die hard fans while the San Mig with lots of new atlethic players hungry for championship. In the end, they are both owned by one company.
Lesson learned:
By the end of the playoff game between TITANS ans GKW's... win or lose they will be still brothers inside and out of the court.

The old (no pun intended) GK players are better as they play to have fun. Hate to see their original players riding the bench and not even had the chance to play. We even wonder how many players from this team have played the required number of games in the eliminations to be able to play in the playoffs.
Also, it's sad to see the new guys not listening to their coach! Instead they frown at him and give him instructions.

The GK Warriors are a very deep team. To anybody who says they consist of only 1 or 2 good players are wrong. All of them can score if they wanted to but winning means some people have to take sacrifices. And the GK players are willing to do this in order for them to win.
If you guys watch their playoff game, you might see a more motivated basketball TEAM.

I notice that the only team that some team almost win against GKW's is the WSA. As everybody knows, no one from WSA trash talked GKW's in this blog. GKW's did'nt took that game so personal and WSA did a good job capitalizing on it. And every time some one trash talked GKW's, I noticed that GKW's worked hard from the start to end. So be careful on what you say to GKW's you might be one of the previuos people who found out how the MIGHTY WARRIORS answer on this blog.
It's nonsense to have a separate game between GKW vs PHI. Why would PHI deserve a chance to play in a separate game vs the top team? Natalo na at na-eliminate tapos gusto pang lumaban sa tope team?

I agree with what why said. This year's palaro elimination is over. All the teams got their chances to compete for the playoffs/championship. For those teams who didn't make it to the playoffs, goodluck for next year and play your best during the friendship games. Play your best for your team and for the people who support you. I'm sad to say that I think I've lost respect for some people/fans in this league. All this trash talking isn't fun anymore and it's not pleasant coming here.
There really isn't anything wrong with being opinionated and giving constructive criticism. But I think some comments in this blog have just taken it to the next level. It's just sad the people who are actually keeping quiet are the ones who are being targeted. I have some bad opinions on some teams but I'll just keep that to myself. That's out of respect for their charachter just because I'm sure I can be proven wrong outside of court.

Wow, so many people commented! Well to start…PIKON??? I commented back on what you first posted, like what all of you are doing right now—commenting back to what I posted…if me saying something back makes me pikon, then I guess your pikon too. One point proven ok!? Also, I think that people don’t watch the game just to see how we answer back to each other, let’s not bring down the reputation that this league built. People, including me, watch this game for the love it, for the support they have for their team.
Thank you for saying my name now, at least we know that this thing now is between the two of us and not between GK warriors and TFC. Let’s leave them alone. As for the comment that was made before that’s supposedly from TFC, I am only speaking for myself and not TFC ok, read back because that person who wrote that comment BEFORE already cleared things up. napaka hater mo pare ko, tindi ka brad. I was watching laro ng RB at PHI, kahit tanungin mo pa kay Jesse Fabian namin, there were no fights or anything sa game with PHI? They were actually having fun in there, they were just playing around. They didnt even take the game seriously. Their coach was chatting with another player from the titans damn near the whole game chatting when the game was happening so anong pinagsasabi mo dyan? haha, some people I tell you.
Oh and about the only funny thing that happen in that game is one player from RB kept raising his hand everytime he makes a shot, it wasnt harmful but it was just so weird that it was so funny, lol. kudos to both teams!!!
